Reliability/Suitability: Please note: The Pioneer & Sony consumer brand CD changers are not designed to be PC controlled. Nor where they designed to take the abuse of the more expensive industrial changers offered by these companies. Our method of controlling the changers exploits the hardwired remote protocol built into the changers. This control method is not sanctioned by either company and was not designed specifically for the purpose we are using it for.

The control method is fairly reliable and you can expect hours of error-free operation, but we do not guarantee that control is 100% reliable. Errors in song choices and changer operation should occassionally be expected. Applications such as Night Clubs, Radio Stations, Cable Radio, Webcasting, and other similar uses should take this factor into consideration. Since you'll be using your changers more and enjoying your music more, you should expect the extra wear that you would normally get from that extra use. That's the purpose of this software! Using our PSR Controllers does add an extra level of reliability, and should be used in applications outside the home, but we still can not guarantee total accurate play back of play lists.
