| Steve of Arizona Five Points of Music Control 
| The photo shown is just a preliminary 'test-bed' for what may be one of the most complex installations of Wintrax Jukebox control to date. Steve is building a new high-tech automated home in Arizona. One of his dreams was to have touch-screens in various places throughout his home to be able to control his music. He has chosen four 15" Elo Touch Screens, which will be flush mounted in the walls of four different rooms. The touch screens all connect to the Data Tech 8-PC expander, which allows full control of Wintrax Jukebox software from any of the four locations, or the main PC, a Compaq Presario 5695. Steve is using EIGHT Pioneer 301-discs changers, for a total compacity of 2400 discs, or roughly 48,000 songs. He probably won't run out of room for CD's for at least a few months <grin>. Actually we don't know how many CD's Steve has or what kind of music he enjoys. The audio output from all eight Pioneer mega CD changers go to the Samson PL-1602 stereo audio mixer. This is a two-rack unit mixer that combines all the audio down to one single output. The Samson audio mixer output then connects to the Alesis 3630 Compressor / Limiter. C/L's are used in radio broadcasting and in Steve's installation also, to keep the audio levels constant. Songs that are two LOW in volume are bought up in level, and songs that are too HOT are pushed down in level. Steve had not yet selected the amplifiers that will drive all the speakers in various rooms yet, but we'll give you an update as the installation progresses. This photo shows the system connected together for testing, before all the equipment is installed and cables are pulled through the walls.
